Tips for a Smooth Apartment Move Day
- →Be present and available — don't leave the movers without a point of contact
- →Have all boxes packed before the crew arrives to maximize efficiency
- →Keep the elevator on hold (or have someone stationed at it) during the move
- →Clear the hallway of your personal items so movers have a clear path
- →If disassembly is needed for large furniture, let us know in advance
- →Confirm your new unit is clean and ready before movers arrive with the first load

Many buildings require advance notice, elevator reservations, or specific move-in approval windows. Finding out the day of can cost you the move slot.
Underestimating parking

Assuming the elevator solves everything
Even with an elevator, a busy building or shared cab means waiting. We plan around that, but it still adds time.

Not asking about building rules
